​At UpRising, I lead with my core values.  These values influence every decision I make and how I work with my clients. 

I approach every project, client, and cause with passion and dedication.  I try to lead with authenticity, vulnerability, and courage.  

I stand firmly in the belief that philanthropy is not a solution for systems issues, but it can be a force for good. I advocate for systemic change and challenge power dynamics in the sector. I am interested in the pursuit of ethical, sustainable, and justice-driven fundraising practices.

I am committed to honesty, transparency, and accountability in every aspect of my work.  I make decisions that align with my principles, even when they are difficult.  Fundraising can reinforce the status quo, or it can be used to help liberate and lift up - I will always choose the latter.

​I prioritize trust, collaboration, and mutual respect with clients, donors, and communities. I Recognize that fundraising is about people, not just dollars and cents.  I aim to foster connections that are rooted in shared values and long-term impact.

I use my unearned privilege, my experience, and expertise to elevate marginalized voices in the nonprofit sector. I create space for diverse perspectives and challenge exclusionary practices.
